The SmallRig Quick Release Plate 3158B is designed to allow for fast transitions between tripod, shoulder, gimbal, and other shooting modes. It attaches securely to the camera or camcorder with both a 1/4″-20 and a 3/8″-16 screw, preventing unwanted twists. The plate features a 1/4″ threaded hole at the rear for mounting counterweights (2284, 2285) or the Counterweight Kit 3125 for better balance. It also includes a removable gear rack for adjusting the camera forward or backward, along with three M4 threaded holes compatible with the original follow focus rod mount.
