The Nanlite U165D is a large 165cm translucent deep umbrella with an industry-standard 8mm shaft, compatible with most LED, strobe, and constant light fixtures. Its adjustable shaft allows you to slide the light source to vary coverage, adjusting focus and defocus. Made from neutral-white material, the umbrella creates a soft, natural-looking quality of light with medium contrast and open shadows. Its “shoot through” capability allows you to direct light through the convex surface towards your subject, adding contrast while maintaining softness, instead of bouncing light traditionally.

Made from neutral-white, translucent material, the NanLite Deep Umbrella 165 softens and broadens the light by allowing it to pass through it, creating natural-looking, diffuse light with very soft shadows, while its 16-rod design maintains its rigid shape for evenly spread light.
