Laowa 7.5mm f/2 – MFT (Standard Silver)
The Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT is currently the widest rectilinear f/2 lens available for Micro Four Thirds cameras, providing a remarkable 110° ultra-wide angle of view equivalent to a 15mm lens on a 35mm sensor. This lens offers excellent performance despite the 2x crop factor, making it ideal for a variety of shooting scenarios.
Its ultra-wide angle and fast f/2 aperture are particularly beneficial for astro-photography, allowing for impressive shots in low-light conditions. The lens is designed to be compact and lightweight, weighing under 0.200kg and measuring just 5.5cm in length. An ultra-light version is also available, specially designed for aerial photography and compatible with drones and gimbals, although it lacks electronic connections for aperture and focus control.
Compatible with Panasonic, Olympus, and Blackmagic cameras with Micro Four Thirds mounts, the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT also features a 46mm filter thread, enhancing its versatility for landscape photography. The standard and lightweight versions of the lens share the same optical design, with the lightweight version weighing 0.150kg for easier use with drones.
