Aspherical elements and extra-low dispersion elements

The lens is equipped with 2 aspherical elements and 2 extra-low dispersion elements which suppresses chromatic aberrations and minimises the distortion. This means you will be shooting clearer and crisper images with colours that are extremely true to life.

Incredible close focusing distance

The lens has a working distance of just 12cm from the subject to the sensor, letting you capture mini macro images with an ultra-wide perspective. It gives the photographer more control over depth of field and flexibility to shoot at any distance.

Manual focus and aperture ring

Focusing is entirely manual and the Laowa 9mm offers a smooth, well-controlled focus ring and internal focusing system. The lens also features a manual aperture ring which allows the photographer to have more control over exposure and depth-of-field adjustments

The 5-blade aperture system creates an impressive Sunstar rendering. You can create perfect 10-point Sunstars by simply stopping down the aperture by 1 stop.
