The Canon EF-mount Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro Lens is a prime portrait-length lens designed for versatile shooting. It allows you to capture close-up subjects as near as 2.4″ away with a 2:1 magnification ratio, as well as distant subjects with infinity focus and a 0.1x magnification. Ideal for working with both close-up and full-length subjects, this manual focus lens eliminates the need for extension tubes or adapters. Optimised for APS-C sensors, it provides a 90mm equivalent focal length, but can also be used on full-frame DSLRs, though some vignetting may occur at infinity focus. The lens features a construction of nine elements in seven groups, with two moving lens groups to minimise barrel distortion and maintain high image clarity and colour accuracy. A rounded 14-blade diaphragm offers smooth out-of-focus quality, making it great for selective focus and near subjects. The all-metal barrel ensures durability, and a built-in lens hood helps prevent lens flare and ghosting. The lens comes with a protective filter pouch and a 62mm UV filter.
