The Anti-Twist Cradle for Mini QR Plates by Kondor Blue is designed to work with the 8T rosette-style system found on Sony FX6 digital cinema cameras and FS5 camcorders. It prevents Kondor Blue’s mini quick release plates from rotating by utilizing the eight-position anti-twist system, allowing the plates to lock down in 45° increments. This added security helps safeguard equipment rigged via the QR plates, such as monitors, wireless systems, battery plates, or power distribution hubs. Simply slot the anti-twist cradle between your camera and the quick release plate receiver when mounting it via a 1/4″ bolt. Weighing only 0.005 kg, it’s suitable for use with gimbals or other weight-sensitive rigs.
