Fujifilm X-T50 Mirrorless Camera Body Only – Silver
The Fujifilm X-T50 is designed with a compact and lightweight build, tipping the scales at just 0.438kg. It’s packed with the advanced 40.2-megapixel X-Transâ„¢ CMOS 5 HR sensor and the ultra-fast X-Processor 5. Alongside a 5-axis, up to 7.0-stop In Body Image Stabilisation feature, the X-T50 is a versatile camera that delivers top-notch image quality, outstanding performance, and easy portability.
Enhanced User Interface and Ergonomics
For the first time, the X-T50 includes a Film Simulation dial on its top plate, facilitating easy transitions between different Film Simulation modes. This feature, unique to Fujifilm, allows photographers to explore a variety of colour tones directly from the camera. The camera also sports a new rounded body design, optimising comfort and maintaining a compact size, thus enhancing its usability.
Digital Camera for Enhanced Photographic Joy
The X-T50 is designed to simplify the photography process with its lightweight body and intuitive controls. Featuring outstanding image quality capabilities and the unique Film Simulation dial, it invites users to experience enhanced joy and creativity in their photographic pursuits.
The fifth generation of the X Series, the Fujifilm X-T50, features a back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel X-Transâ„¢ CMOS 5 HR sensor paired with the latest image processing algorithm to deliver exceptional resolution while maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio. With an improved pixel structure, the camera efficiently captures more light and adopts ISO 125 as its normal sensitivity-previously used as extended sensitivity. The electronic shutter achieves speeds up to 1/180000 sec., allowing precise exposure control in various lighting conditions.
The X-T50 comes equipped with an AI-based subject detection AF system developed using deep learning technology. It can detect a variety of subjects including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects, and drones. Enhanced by a more advanced AF prediction algorithm than its predecessors, the camera offers comfortable shooting experiences across a spectrum of fast-moving subjects.
Users can access 20 different Film Simulation modes, including “REALA ACE,” which ensures accurate colour reproduction and crisp tonal gradations. This variety allows photographers to choose modes based on the subject or scene, akin to selecting a specific type of photographic film. The camera’s high pixel count is effectively utilised by the digital teleconverter function, providing magnification options of 1.4x and 2x.
This model is designed to maintain the series’ characteristic portability while integrating a 5-axis In Body Image Stabilisation that compensates up to 7.0 stops. This stabilisation allows for comfortable hand-held shooting even in challenging low light conditions, offering enhanced versatility.
The X-T50 supports 6.2K/30P video recording with a Tracking AF function that ensures high-quality results. The AUTO mode, accessible via a dedicated lever, optimises shooting settings based on the detected scene, simplifying the capture of both still images and videos.
The camera’s design emphasises functional beauty with a newly rounded body shape and an ergonomically improved grip for comfortable handling. It features a Film Simulation dial on the top plate for quick switching between modes, enhancing user experience in capturing diverse colour tones.
An integrated pop-up flash, situated with the viewfinder on the top plate, automatically adjusts light output, proving particularly useful in dark scenes and backlit portraits. The X-T50 also features a 1.84 million-dot, tiltable rear LCD monitor similar to that of the X-T30 II, and boasts a refined button layout on the back to improve the shooting experience for both stills and videos.
