The EF-60 is Fujifilm’s first radio controlled wireless clip on flash. The Fujifilm Shoe Mount EF-60 Flash is compatible with cameras in the GFX/X series range.

Powerful Flash Output & Compact Size

With a maximum guide number of 60 (ISO100•m & flash coverage setting at 200mm) this unit is compact and attaches directly onto the top of your Fuji camera to accomodate any shooting situation. The flash output will cover a focal length from 24mm to 200mm and will come down to a wider angle 16mm when using the built in diffuser. The Auto Zoom function will automatically adjust the coverage based on the angle of view of your attached lens. This feature maximises light output, distribution and direction while preventing light fall off at the edges. This is an extremely powerful flash with multiple functions packed into a small size.

Hybrid Wireless Control

The Fujifilm EF60 utilises a hybrid system with both radio controlled and optical flash communications. The built-in radio control system is the Nissin Air System (NAS) that allows for the flash to be triggered and controlled by using the optional FUJIFILM Wireless Commander EF-W1 or Nissin Controller. This maximises options for flash placement over optical systems, with longer flash to trigger distances, usability even in bright ambient light and no reliance on direct line of sight. The Fuji EF-60 also utilises the optical wireless mode for communication with Fuji flash units like the FUJIFILM EF-X500, that can be used as a trigger*. The optical flash system provides a backup in environments where a stable wireless radio signal cannot be achieved. It also increases compatibility for users who have optical system Fuji flash units.

Functions

The flash head is manually adjustable from 90° upwards and by 180° in a left and right direction – perfect for bouncing light off a ceiling, wall or reflector for a more natural looking light while minimising shadows. Full TTL operation and manual control are easily used for creative control no matter what the situation. You will be able to master the lighting with finite adjustability. FP High-Speed Sync is fully supported on compatible cameras for fast flash synchronisation speeds up to 1/8000s. This added control will increase the options for flash photography in well-lit environments such as shooting in daylight with a wide-open aperture and reducing ambient light levels.
