Keep this Manfrotto-Type Quick Release Plate from 3 Legged Thing on hand as a spare or mount a second camera to it for quick camera swapping on your tripod head. The plate is lightweight and strong enough to withstand the rigours of a production day, thanks to its jet-black Darkness colour and anodized magnesium alloy. The rubberized patches on top increase grip while protecting your camera from metal-to-metal contact, allowing you to get a good grip without overtightening the camera screw.

The plate has a slotted channel that allows you to adjust the position of the camera screws and your camera to rough in the balance, and you can slide the plate within your tripod head’s platform to find the optimal balance for your camera rig. The included 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 stainless steel camera mounting screws stay in the channel when no camera is attached, making it less likely they will get lost when moving from location to location.
